Homewatch Caregivers is a family owned and operated business which has been providing care to seniors in the Triangle area for almost 20 years. Currently we are accepting applications for a Home Care Nurse Supervisor position in our Chapel Hill office.
Home Care RN is responsible for the following:
- New client assessment/admission
- Quality assurance and supervisory visits
- Communicates with employees, clients, family members, and/or other disciplines to ensure proper execution of client care plans
- Monitors caregiver compliance with company policies and client care plans
- Assists with employee training during onboarding and throughout caregiver tenure
- Maintains knowledge of home care practices under the NC state licensure to ensure compliance with state regulations
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Nurse Supervisor must be a Registered Nurse with at least 3 years of recent experience in a clinical setting
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Able to function with minimal supervision, accepting personal responsibility for maintaining professional relationships with the clients, caregivers, and all internal and external disciplines involved in client care team
- Responsible for maintaining nursing license and skills necessary to perform the job, as well as adhering to the Agency policies
Previous experience in home care, home health or hospice, and/or leadership experience is preferred
