Job Description Summary
Position works closely with Skilled Trades Business Representative regarding business/ company apprenticeship and non-apprentice credit training programs to include: assist in development and promotion of programs, recruit students, record and maintain records, provide registration and information assistance.
Office machine operations, Microsoft Office programs, knowledge of skilled trades and apprenticeship.
Ability to communicate, both verbal and written, good organizational, and computer skills in word and excel.Accurate record keeping, strong attention to detail.
Ability to organize facts and materials for presentation. Ability to communicate effectively with students, co-workers, and community members. Ability to work supervised and unsupervised, and maintain confidentiality.
Ability to work with others in both a social and professional environment. Good work ethic and standards, good organizational skills, team oriented and attention to detail.

Work with Skilled Trade and Apprenticeship staff to record and maintain records as required by Owens Community College and Ohio State Apprenticeship Council. Manage rosters and databases which are used to register apprentices and students. Work with supervisor to align curriculum to programs. Assist both signatory and non-signatory businesses and companies. Work with businesses and students to promote, recruit and prepare for programs. Aid apprentices with questions pertaining to their progression within their program curriculum.
