On our Impact Engineering team, you have the opportunity to be on the ground floor in designing, building, and deploying multiple cutting-edge products that will have a global impact. Specifically, you will collaborate with our NGO and academic partners to develop and support technology solutions in the world of Wildlife Conservation.

As a member on our team you will…

Work in partnership with Product Manager and business development on use cases, requirements and feature requests
Define and execute on roadmaps, project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables. Delivery of releases from concept to general availability. Constant assessment of feature pipeline
Must be delivery focused, with a strong willingness to perform all tasks required to complete the job and meet deadlines
Communicate status, updates and progress on milestones through presentations, email and direct communication with stakeholders and executive leadership. Must be delivery focused,
Manage relationships identified by business development which include product partners, vendors and technical stakeholders.
Coordinate feature development across internal products and externally with partners
Travel to some customer and partner sites for deeper engagement, training opportunities and requirements gathering (Travel estimated 20%)
Oversee quality of product and coordinates with support to quickly address product issues
Act as advisor to management, customers, and partners on advanced program matters
Identify opportunities and lead efforts to improve program methodology excellence and best practices within the product
Provide that ‘hustle’ necessary in this role as we navigate the product life cycle
You will bring this experience and skillsets…

Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or a related technical discipline
10+ years in technical program management in a related industry, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience managing software development projects, software development life cycle and quality processes, such as scoping, costs, schedules, deliverables, change and risk management, and mitigation
Strong technical aptitude, can converse with developers and qa engineers at a highly technical level. Experience working with development teams breaking down user stories into development deliverables
Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills to effect the right outcome for the team/customer. Ability to influence and motivate people across a broad variety of job functions.
Experience developing SaaS offerings and overseeing projects hosted in Azure, AWS or GCP is preferred.
