Summary:
Speech Therapist will provide services that identify, prevent, remediate and rehabilitate speech, language, cognition, voice, fluency and swallowing disorders in children. Evaluates and analyzes patients, treatment and instructions to patient/family to maximize functional independence. Wors exclusively with pediatric patients.
Responsibilities:
1. Patient Assessment and Treatment Criteria A: Performs speech and language therapy evaluations on patients with complex diagnoses.. Patient Assessment and Treatment Criteria B: Performs speech and language therapy treatment planning and implementation for complex patients. Patient Assessment and Treatment Criteria C: Assists with scheduling patients. Patient Assessment and Treatment Criteria D: Provides patient / family education and training.
2. Team Activity Criteria A: Provides peer reviews and participation in performance improvement activities. Team Activity Criteria B: Mentors lower level staff and new staff. Team Activity Criteria D: .

Required: This position requires a minimum formal education of Master Degree and minimum of three years job-related experience. Experience working with children who have Autism Spectrum disorders is required.
