ABOUT THE ROLE

Side is looking for a Sales Operations Manager who will own the Sales Operations process.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Perform budgeting, planning, and analysis activities for sales.
Reviews capital expenditures and analyzes sales-related expenses associated with such things as the order pipeline, bookings, revenue forecasting, revenue reporting, sales productivity and goal attainment.
Perform regular variance analysis for expenses and budgets.
Evaluate pricing structures to ensure fit with company objectives.
Effectively incorporate client delivery schedules and operational changes into future revenue forecasts and revenue timeline considerations.
Maintains and enhance sales force automation systems, product/service costing models, and margin management tools/systems to effectively monitor and manage revenue/expenses.
Calculate commissions.
Administer our sales tools including Salesforce.
The position is located in San Francisco, California.
THE IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE
Salesforce.com sales cloud expert user responsible for developing KPI dashboards and reports for leadership and sales ambassadors. In addition, driving process optimization within the sales organization through new feature implementation.
Assist the sales team, setting and ensuring standards for Salesforce.com data quality and integrity, owning the underlying data quality and implementation of our systems.
Work with Sales Management on planning territories for optimal market share, sales and growth.
Serve as the liaison between the sales organization and our internal systems team when implementing new features and products.
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU A STRONG FIT FOR THE ROLE?
As Side’s Sales Operations Manager, you’re a self starter, “roll up your sleeves” person who performs well under pressure, has a startup mindset, but gets excited about building for scale.
7+ years’ experience in Sales Operations supporting sales processes such as commission analysis, forecasting, territory management, and data management
5+ years of experience having directly managed Salesforce.com for a company’s sales efforts; Certification as a Salesforce Administrator required
Database management is highly preferred
Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, extracting and manipulating data in Excel)
Experience helping a fast paced startup build for scale
Strong presence and influence skills
