Assist public at counter; files pleadings; file court shucks; receive payments; receive name search requests; and pull files when requested.
Examples of Duties / Knowledge & Skills
Locate case files for public.
Locate and check out files to attorneys.
Fill requests for copies and receive fees.
Perform records search.
File all pleadings in case files and file case files.
Answer phone calls and prepare correspondence related to records searches.
Conserve supplies; report items that need attention of maintenance; communicate importance of safety.
Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school graduation or its equivalent preferred. Secretarial or records management experience desirable.
