Unarmed Security Shift Supervisor

- Demonstrate and set example of excellence by adhering to all FCS uniform and grooming guidelines and procedures
- Adhere to and educate employees on above mentioned policies
- Effectively communicate with Account Manager regularly
- Ensure all required reporting and contract compliance requirements are met for assigned site
- Assure regular communication of issues or concerns with FCS assigned personnel and client
- Handle any escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately
- Communicate staffing needs to the Account Manager
- Develop staff in both technical and professional skills through performance management (coaching, counseling, disciplining, training, and recognition)
- Assure that employee grievances are heard and resolved (with help from Account Manager and/or HR team) and that personnel files are updated accurately and timely
- Assures communication of policies, company announcements and job openings is received and understood by all personnel
- Meet all contractual scheduled hours with a minimum of unbilled overtime
- Coordinate and conduct OTJ site specific training
- Ensure employees understand, read and know how to locate post assigned orders
- Manage uniforms, equipment and vehicles assigned to site
- Take a proactive approach in communicating with client and meeting their needs. Listen to issues, provide expertise and possible solutions. Ensure overall satisfaction
- Utilize Ehub for scheduling, billing and to produce reports (Scheduling Activity, invoice aging, compliance)
- Create, maintain and enhance a positive work environment
- Understand and communicate the FCS mission and embed it in site culture
- Attend all scheduled meetings for additional training and updates provided by Sr Leadership
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School diploma or Equivalent
Experience: Previous contract security, military or law enforcement
Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities, complex situations, a diverse work team and client expectations
MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE USED:
Previous experience in surveillance and or CCTV preferred but not required
Ability to use cellular devise for reporting
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
May be exposed to stressful situations, such as challenging individuals who are in or approaching unauthorized areas
May be required to work overtime without advance notice
Work in various environments including adverse outdoor conditions such as cold, rain or heat
Depending upon assignment may be required to work in environments or under conditions that require the use of protective gear and devices and/or awareness of personal safety and safety of others
May be exposed to or required to handle sensitive and confidential information
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, twisting, walking, and standing for extended periods of time
- Ability to perform continuous physical exertion as needed
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 lbs
- Run as needed
- Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/moving up to 25lbs
- May be exposed to or required to handle sensitive and confidential information
