About the role - Inside Sales Representative

As the Inside Sales Representative, you are responsible for generating, pursuing, and selling nationwide prospects primarily through phone and email. Leads are generated through calling target clients, networking, exhibiting, and following up on business requests and prospects generated through our regular webinars, speaking engagements, and marketing and communications programs.

Responsibilities

Bring proven track record of sales experience to our team
Develop new business relationships and generate new revenue through cold calling and email correspondence
Leverage leads from website inquiries, regular webinars, speaking engagements, marketing programs, and advertising
Build and manage pipeline to consistently meet monthly sales quotas
Develop relationships with range of buyers from C-Level, to VP, Director, and Manager
Use a consultative selling approach to uncover opportunities within Fortune 1000 accounts
Research and maintain industry/vertical and competitive knowledge
Attend events and conferences

Required Experience:
Holds a 4 year College Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
Has a minimum of 3-4 years of sales experience (including internships) preferably in the email marketing or financial services industries.
We are looking for a passionate, goal-oriented self-starter who is driven to succeed.
Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills are a must!
A firm knowledge of email marketing and database management, as well as a track record of over-achieving quota in past positions and closing deals at the VP level is preferred, but not required.
Candidates should have strong organizational skills and be competent with Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management Software.
