This role grows and manages relationships with education-related organizations and technology solutions like student information systems (SIS).
As a Partner Manager, you will focus on driving partners through effective sales and technical training, demand generation marketing efforts, and mutual business planning. You will also provide value to new and current partners by sharing industry context and growing their awareness of product features, including new releases.
The role will involve 50% relationship management, 25% working leads that come in and 25% prospecting activity.

What you’ll be doing:
As a Partner Manager, you will
Research, prospect and establish leads for partner relationships through discovery meetings using a consultative sales approach.
Prepare and present proposals to organizational decision makers in-person and via video conference.
Work with partner teams including coordinators/engineers to ensure fulfillment of cross-promotional opportunities.
Generate a pre-determined level of new business revenue.
Work special events to enhance relationships with existing partners and prospects.
Work closely with other departments within Vanco on partner related programs, including; product development, marketing, operations, and finance.
Ensure delivery of monthly sales reports, update CRM, calendar and manage pipeline consistently
Other duties as assigned.
Who you are:
You have your Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
You have 2 years’ experience in partnership sales at an enterprise level.
You have previous experience managing existing partner relationships and capitalizing on new revenue opportunities.
You excel at initiating and managing complex new business relationships.
You have demonstrated ability to hit quotas and revenue goals.
You have experience within the payment processing industry (preferred).
You have excellent communication skills, including; verbal, written and presentation skills.
You have experience with proposals and contract negotiations.
You are willing to travel 25% of the time.
You are creative, flexible and demonstrate tenacity.
You are able to commute to and work out of our Bloomington office.
