2nd.Shop Supervisor
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Shop Supervisor to join our team. The Shop Supervisor will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our shop, ensuring efficiency, and quality workmanship. If you have a strong background in equipment repair, vehicle maintenance, and leadership skills, we want to hear from you.
Duties:
- Coordinate and prioritize daily work orders and activities in the shop.
- Conduct heavy lifting and equipment repairs as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards for efficient operations.
- Manage inventory levels and order necessary supplies.
- Train and mentor shop staff on best practices and procedures.
- Perform troubleshooting on electrical systems and transmit issues for prompt resolution.
Other Duties:
You will use your excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills to engage your fleet mechanics and helpers, maintain good morale among your team, Regular duties include coordinating, scheduling and auditing of vehicle maintenance repairs to include preventative, mechanical and electrical repair to tractors, trucks and trailers.

· Prioritize and assign work to meet company’s needs
· Ensure quality, compliance, and safety of EAI’s assets
· Control repair, inventory, and labor costs
· Meet and exceed company’s satisfaction
· Coach and mentor your team
· Monitor mechanics work levels and quality of work
· Facility management, assuring a clean and safe working environment per company’s standards
· Other duties and tasks as required by supervisor
· Assist with decision making with other EAI facilities
· Working closely with Mechanics to ensure proper work flow
· Handle breakdown calls and assign mechanics or vendor to minimize breakdown time
· Review work orders in Equipment 360
· Assign work through Equipment 360
· Assist sister companies with road calls and maintenance needs when asked
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in equipment repair, vehicle maintenance, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and safety protocols.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on satisfaction.
- Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
