Solutions Consultant/Sales Engineer - ITSM Software

Job Description:
Partner with sales to provide technical implementation support to current and potential commercial customers. Pre-qualify potential customers. Help with implementation of software suite to include integration.

Support the delivery organization to provide technical support and product demonstrations.
Contribute to business growth through solutions-focused sales to new and existing customers.
Develop credible and high-integrity relationships with customers, prospects and partners.
Partner with sales on customer call plans and sales strategies. Plan and present professional software demonstrations.
Identify issues, develop and present solutions to address them. Professionally and appropriately address customers’ and partners’ technical questions and objections.
Maintain and configure the demonstration environment with technical self sufficiency.
Work independently and as part of a geographically dispersed team.
Write high quality technical papers and proposals.
Develop knowledge of complimentary products and technologies such as Business Dashboards, Geographical Information Systems and Reporting software.
Understand the competitive marketplace.
Occasional work on Professional Services and Support Helpdesk projects.

Experience and Qualifications:
5+ years Pre-Sales experience with Service Management, Asset Manager, Change Manager, Incident, Problem, Configuration, Service Catalog and Service Level Management implementation experience needed.

Knowledge and experience with relational database systems.
Technical Pre-Sales experience presenting and demonstrating software.
Proven ability to convey technical information and conduct software demonstrations to both business and technical audiences.
BS/BA, MS desirable.
