Job: Quality Inspector- Electronics
Pay: $22-$29/h
* Pay is determined by years of experience and shift preference.
Shift: Day- 6am-2:30pm M-F, and Swing-3pm- 1:30am M-Th
Type: Day: Direct Hire, Swing: Contract

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking an Quality Inspector for an aerospace company which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience with electronics components looking to further their career in manufacturing and inspection.
- Inspects purchased parts, materials, components, electronic hardware and equipment as materials are received from vendors or subcontractors.
- Performs and approves internal First Article Inspections.
- Inspects critical in-process and/or finished production assemblies and subassemblies for conformance to drawings and quality assurance standards
- Determines methods, sequences and procedures necessary for inspection with machines and advanced tools.
- Participates in the creation of inspection plans with the QE and provides input, revisions, and feedback regarding drawings.
- Contributes to the implementation of special set ups on equipment.
- Performs audits of products and processes.
- May perform Shipping Inspection duties utilizing internal systems and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet company shipping requirements.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous final or in process inspection experience
- Electronics inspection experience
- Ability to troubleshoot down to a component level
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges,precision measurement and optical inspection tools
- Ability to work closely with Quality Engineers
- Understanding of electrical cables
