The Payments, Virtual Solutions, Innovation, & Community Banking (PVSI & CB) business group was created recently to leverage and build on our strengths to deliver compelling and game changing experiences for our customers. The launch of this business division brought together six lines of businesses: Consumer Credit Solutions, Deposit Products Group, Innovations, Operations, Treasury Management and Wells Fargo Virtual Channels. The PVSI & Community Banking (PVSI & CB) technology organization is focused on bringing together technology teams across the firm focused on delivering the next generation of payments capabilities, advancing digital offerings, enabling innovation to develop new customer experiences & products and enhancing branch, contact center & ATM technology.
The PVSI & CB groups play a critical role in enabling our business partners through technology solutions. The organizational models for these teams are designed to more effectively manage our portfolio of applications, govern enterprise IT, manage risk, simplify our technology offerings, and execute on our business partners’ priorities with enhanced time to market. The Business Services teams supporting these groups are a critical component of the EIT CIO (Enterprise Information Technology) operating model and are focused on providing business services to team members, support partners and Line of Business partners in conjunction with the Enterprise CIO Business Services organization.
EIT AI Platform team provides shared services to the enterprise for Machine Learning and NLP related products. The team is responsible for supporting Data Science activities across the bank. This is a critical function for the bank as we look to the future for creating new products.
EIT AI Platform team is looking for a highly motivated and experienced HPC Linux administrator with SLURM, PBS, Puppet, Chef, Python and R package management experience. The role will require the candidate to manage large Linux server farms related to AI platform and Python/R package management. Ideal candidate will be an expert in Linux and HPC. The individual will be responsible for post-production support of the Platform.
HPC Linux env setup and support.
Managing workload management using IBM Spectrum or SLURM or PBS
Management of distributed file system using NFS or GPFS or Isilon
Development of Linux shell scripting and development of automation
Management of Docker or Ansible or Puppet/Chef environment
Installing and configuration of the machine learning tools
Coordinating with Hadoop team to install necessary software for machine learning
Post production support of the ML Platform
Work with users to coordinate the access to environments
Work with business and technical leaders, sponsors, and analysts on problem understanding, requirements and architecture discovery, analyze complex business requirements, data analysis and modeling, designs and writes functional and technical specifications
7+ years of application development and implementation experience
5+ years of Linux experience
Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Experience with Spark, Hive and Kafka
SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies: used in waterfall or Agile development projects

3+ years of experience in HPC environment
3+ years of experience in SLURM or PBS or other workload management software based on Linux.
1+ years of Docker or Ansible experience
1+ years of Puppet/Chef experience
1+ years of experience in NFS or Isilon
8+ years of experience in Python, R based applications and or services
Understanding of Deep Learning concepts
Hands on expertise in Linux commands and should be an expert in Linux environment
Ability to work on call as assigned
Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled
