Overview
Due to internal growth, LogMeIn is hiring a Solutions Consulting Manager who will manage a team of highly skilled and dedicated pre-sales Solutions Consultants in support of sales to achieve revenue targets and ensure customer success. You will have the lead technical role in your region supporting sales activities, and be actively engaged with key customers and opportunities. You will work cross functionally ensuring tight alignment between sales and other organizations (Customer Care, Professional Services, Product Management and Engineering) within LogMeIn.

This is a hands-on coach/player management role. The Solutions Consulting Manager must understand the clients' overall business and how to position LogMeIn products, messaging and services and be an authority on LogMeIn and industry-standard technologies. The Solutions Consulting Manager is responsible for overseeing that their team is effectively supporting the sales revenue opportunities of their sales area. The Solutions Consulting Manager is also responsible for motivating and driving the professional development of their Solutions Consulting staff, including mentorship, training, and performance evaluation. The position requires the ability to multi-task between team members in their support of different clients, sales opportunities, and other initiatives.

Responsibilities
Manage a team of pre-sales Solutions Consultants in order to optimize sales and revenue volume.
Engage directly with Sales and Sales Leadership to provide support for pre-sales activities across all LogMeIn product and services offerings
Act as a trusted advisor to higher-level sales management on strategic opportunities, emerging competitive threats, product direction, and sales strategies
Provide day-to-day guidance to Solutions Consultants in the areas of technical sales presentations, product demonstrations, proof of concepts, RFPs, and overcoming sales objections
Perform key functions to recruit, hire, and retain top pre-sales Solutions Consulting talent including interviewing, candidate recommendations, monitoring, employee feedback and documentation, counseling,coaching, and performance management / improvement when needed.
Conduct regular 1:1’s with team members to provide constructive feedback, skills development, and career path guidance
Obtain weekly and monthly Solutions Consulting performance metrics and promote opportunity awareness and proactive Solutions Consulting engagement by monitoring Salesforce.com activities.
Collect customer feedback, enhancements and feature requests and disseminate findings to product management, engineering, corporate and technical support in order to continuously improve product offerings.
Communicate, connect and align people within the direct team and develop internal relationships across LogMeIn virtual teams within the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
3 years plus Management experience
5 years plus years prior pre sales experience in a high tech capacity with a demonstrated track record of success in driving customer adoption of technology
Industry certifications (highly desirable) could include the following: Cisco CCIE (R/S or Voice preferred), CCNP, CCNA, CCNA Voice, CCNA Video, Adtran ATSP, and ATSE
Experience with enterprise-level sales
Knowledge and skills with an emphasis in a blend of IP networking (LAN and WAN) and Unified Communications
Previous experience in a pre-sales role within the telco or technology industryProven knowledge and experience in several of the following areas: IP/IP routing, LAN and WAN design and protocols, QoS,
Unified Communications/Voice over IP/Video over IP, SIP, and firewalls/network security
