Position Overview:

Manage multiple sites and employees for Clinical Scribes LLC, a small, cohesive medical scribe company looking to grow in the marketplace. Working proactively, manage employee scheduling and training to meet the needs of emergency room, hospital and/or clinic providers throughout the Denver metro area. Medical scribe services are designed to reduce the burden of documentation for medical providers, so quality control is paramount. Using excellent communication skills, independently handle clinic issues such as schedule changes, staff turnover, and other concerns with supervision through the Medical Director.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work independently as on-site manager in Colorado, with regular coordination and oversight from company leadership.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for existing clients and employees.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and perform reviews for employees. Proactively anticipate staffing needs regarding employee turnover.
  • Create employee schedules to align with clinic schedules, including time off, trades, etc.
  • Perform primary scribe duties as needed to fill holes in schedule as required.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, employees, and company management regarding training, note quality, schedule changes and general feedback via telephone, email and/or on-site visits.
  • Together with medical directorship, perform quality control for medical documentation.
  • Encourage company growth by obtaining referrals, outreach to pre-medical advisors, responding to potential client queries, and other marketing materials.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s or comparable degree in healthcare-related field, nursing degree, or similar.

Experience: Previous experience as a medical scribe is highly preferred. A minimum of three years experience in a healthcare field such as a medical technician, nursing assistant, or medical transcriptionist.

Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and ease with web conferencing, telephone and in-person communications. Strong organizational and time-management skills, including ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work independently. Experience with employee scheduling programs preferred.
