Duties:
- Use power tools and hand tools to shape, cut, and polish jewelry pieces
- Set gemstones and diamonds into jewelry settings
- Repair and resize jewelry pieces as needed
- Create custom designs based on customer specifications
- Clean and maintain jewelry-making equipment and work area
- Collaborate with other jewelers and designers to create unique pieces
Skills:
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for jewelry making
- Knowledge of different metals, gemstones, and diamonds used in jewelry
- Attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship
- Strong problem-solving skills for repairs and resizing
- Creativity and ability to bring customer ideas to life
- Good communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and understand customer needs
