LAMMES CANDIES SINCE 1885, Inc.is an Austin original!!!We are a 5th generation, family-owned, hometowncompany making quality candy. Lammes Candies is hiring production workers to wrap and package our candies. The full-time position includes on-the-job training and consists of weighing, wrapping, and packing candies into a variety of packages. The hours are 6:45 to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Weekends are possible during the holiday season. This position needs someone who is flexible and can stay longer if needed.
Job requirements:
- high school diploma/GED;
- basic math skills;
- ability to use and read a scale;
- ability to record production and tracking reports;
- able to follow direction and take directions from others;
- able to work with both hands, with dexterity and speed;
- must be able to stand for more than 7 hours at a time;
- able to bend, kneel, and lift up to 30 pounds;
- pay close attention to detail with accuracy and precision;
- dependability and excellent attendance; and
- ability to work in a group environment or independently.
