Job Description
Overview
The Procurement Digital Transformation Project Manager that will be responsible for managing the successful implementation and integration of a Source to Contract (S2C - Sourcing, Contract, SLP and Spend Visibility) and Procure to Order (P2O) solution. The Process Transformation Lead’s role is to represent the procurement vision, drive the implementation provider, consultants and internal enterprise wide Kraft Heinz team through the process transformation over the next year. The role will serve as the procurement subject matter expert (SMEs) as well as lead team of SMEs and consultants to scope, design, develop and implement new business processes within the digital solutions that will transform the way Kraft Heinz does Procurement.
We are seeking an individual with specific experience with implementing S2C and P2O digital systems, including ongoing management, ongoing process improvement and administration of communication, training and change management of these initiatives. The individual must also have experience in Ariba implementations that include, but is not limited to, implementing Ariba catalogs, Ariba Supply Network (AN), Ariba Buying (P2O), and Source to Contract (S2C). This role is intended for someone with expertise in procurement sourcing as well as depth in the technical background of the procurement process that can strategically drive these initiatives, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and have a high level of expertise and accountability in this role.
Position Responsibilities
The role is a highly visible role that demands a proven expertise managing transformation with focus on agility and speed to value while maintaining high standards of internal customer service and overall engagement success. This leadership role needs to excel in innovation and creativity and demonstrate complex problem solving, critical thinking and strong analytical skills that drive actions from data.
To be successful in the role, candidate will require strong interpersonal skills, influencing without authority, collaboration, leveraging other’s work and helping others to succeed, engagement with multiple business partners.
The Process Owner role will have responsibility for leading and driving implementation related activities that focus on excellence and align to transformation vision.
Owner of S2C and P2P process/service and underlying solution/technology/platforms ensuring its objectives and success.
Subject Matter Expert – understand current state decentralized, inconsistent processes for source to contract and procure to order and translate them into a future state best in class process in the S2C and P2P process/solution end to end including inputs, outputs, resources required, interaction with others, etc.
Accountable to Define:
process/service vision, driving enterprise focus and reusable capabilities.
and executes approach and strategy for S2C and P2P processes and technology.
and leverage data that will enable opportunities to drive global processes efficiencies.
Driver of simplification and automation to re-imagine S2C and P2P processes, services, and solutions, to increase agility and efficiencies, lower operation costs and reduce complexity while mitigating risk.
Key liaison to work with relevant enterprise wide stakeholders to evaluate business value propositions
Procurement owner to sign off for all changes to and implementation of new processes, design specifications for tools, and process desktop procedures including sponsoring the development of strategic partnerships to enable such processes.
Responsible for identifying reporting requirements.
Accountable to identify project risks early and mitigate risk by providing prudent and timely recommendations for alternative courses of actions; communicate effectively with clients regarding project risks, set and manage client expectations on risk; create and execute project work plans; manage change controls.
Lead trainer for Kraft Heinz Procurement & enterprise-wide personnel, supplier network, etc.
Problem solver in the areas of innovation, adopting emerging technologies to modernize processes and/or users experiences and driving ideas and actions from data insights.
Must be comfortable working with ambiguity and adept at using data to influence business decision.
Project leadership and organizational skills to transform ideas into successful execution while being capable of driving complex projects across multiple groups within tight timelines.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree is required.
10+ years of relevant professional experience in procurement or operations
Minimum 7-10 years’ experience including:
Project scoping (Flight plan for supplier enablement strategy)
Requirements analysis/definition/mapping
Solution and process design
Hands-on development of project deliverables - formal/structured methodology.
Project management experience (methodology & tools) / knowledge of a procurement shared service delivery model.
Preferred 3-5 years’ experience:
ERP experience with SAP / Ariba is a strong plus
Knowledge of SAP ECC/S4 HANA Procurement functionality
Proven experience as the overall owner for large business facing transformation projects in multi project management / business facing role.
Superior relationship management skills (both internally as well as externally) with a collaborative, business-oriented mindset to deliver meaningful goals and objectives.
Experience leading major transformation projects in a service outsourcing environment is a strong plus.
Proven performance history of delivery of procurement processes with a knowledge of current best practices.
Ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple priorities effectively- demonstrating ability to balance strategic and tactical business skill.
Candidate should be proficient in MS Office, MS Visio, MS Project
Strong change management (preferred), communication and leadership skills (required)
6 Sigma Green Belt Certification is a strong plus
Able to work effectively in a team environment with both local and remote teams.
Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
Consumer Products Industry experience desirable.
Ability to travel 25% or more as part of the role on a routine basis.
