Lubys Culinary Services, operated by Pappas Restaurants Inc., is in search of a Kitchen Manager that is committed to quality! This position will execute the culinary menu and vision for a specific Lubys Culinary Services concept. They will be responsible for maintaining the food quality and management of the back of the house team.
Responsibilities
Oversee a scratch kitchen and an innovative, fresh and modern menu.
Ensure that all team members and systems function efficiently so that guests are satisfied.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure the restaurant achieves it budgeted goals and team member morale is maintained.

Culinary degree, bachelors degree, or commensurate experience
Previous experience as an Executive Chef
Up to date Food Safety Certifications as required by local, county or state laws
Creative, multi-dimensional with experience working with multiple cuisines
Experience creating menu items and partnering with chefs to redesign a menu on a seasonal basis
Proven leadership in managing a kitchen and team members
Experience training, developing and engaging team members
Ability to maintain composure in high pressure situations and ability to motivate staff to do the same
Strong communication and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to establish effective and collaborative working relationships
