We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Receiving Clerk to help support our Industrial engineering team. PHC is a leading supplier of hydraulic cylinders for material handling, construction, agriculture, and transportation markets. Under limited supervision of the Material Handling Supervisor, responsible for providing logistics support by receiving orders to meet productivity and quality goals.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Tracks the movement of items from the time items arrive to the facility
- Completes all necessary receiving forms and checks them for accuracy.
- Participates in the training of any new Material Handler in the department
- Responsible for safe, efficient, and accurate delivery of material and equipment
- Receives material and equipment from suppliers and vendors
- Unloads materials received from vendors and suppliers.
- Completes and files the necessary receiving forms for inventory received.
- Searches for any damages in the inventory received and reports it to leadership.
- Verifies the accuracy of orders received and shipped.
- Maintains the daily receiving logs on a computer.
- Receives all incoming goods for all areas of the company.
- Keeps documentation of these transactions.
- Has to perform all return receipts for all areas of the company.
- Coordinates QC inspection of all inbound goods.
- Communicates unloading of all trucks, and assists with unloading trucks.
- Identifies all parts by creating ID labels for parts.
- Coordinates delivery of goods to correct location.
- Handles inaccuracies with accounts payable for all packing slips and invoices.

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl.
