Responsibilities

In this role, you should expect to:
Assist the Talent Acquisition team in all phases of the recruitment process, including posting advertisements, screening resumes, conducting applicant telephone screenings, scheduling interviews, and pre-employment screening
Coordinate initial screenings, technical phone interviews, and follow up onsite/virtual interviews.
Assist in collecting feedback from hiring managers after interviews and follow up with active candidates to ensure a smooth candidate experience
Research alternative ways to recruit talent as well as attend job fairs and networking events
Conduct resume database searches and make cold calls
Manage the recruitment calendar
Assist in applicant tracking and human resources information systems management
Manage applicant files/conduct file audits
Maintain employee confidence and protect operations integrity by keeping human resource communication private
Assist in supporting the expansion of the internship program
Complete research projects on HR/talent acquisition related topics as assigned
Qualifications

Creative, innovative, and comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams and independently when necessary

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

A strong work ethic to show initiative, multi-task, and meet deadlines
Prior work experience in a human resources and/or staffing environment
A positive attitude and willingness to work with the team to achieve the HR departmental goals

Eligibility requirements for internships:
Internships requires working a minimum of 16 hours per week with a maximum of 40 hours per week
You must be at least 18 years of age, enrolled in an undergraduate program entering your junior or senior year, enrolled in a graduate program, or a recent graduate (no more than 6 months upon graduation)
This is a paid internship and compensation will be based on applicant’s qualifications. We currently do not provide housing, relocation, or transportation reimbursement
Interns are not eligible for company benefits

2019 Internship sessions:
Spring: Jan. 16 – May 10
Summer: June 3 – Aug. 23
