We are seeking a Communications Technology Senior Designer and Control System Programmer to take our meeting, conference and presentation technologies to the next level. Working with a strong planning and implementation team, you will design conference rooms, auditoria, and operations centers. You will use the latest technology to control, operate and display content for our staff. You will discover, design and improve technology in meeting spaces, developing operations and control standards that serve a campus of over 7000 employees while providing focused solutions to respond to specific needs and requirements in specialty areas. You will have the opportunity to shape meeting spaces that serve staff from 5-500 users.
As a leader, you’ll be a close collaborator with our Technology Manger and will serve as a consultant to senior leaders and facility managers to design, plan and implement solutions. We are looking for a candidate with a bold vision for presentation technologies and the hardware and software to drive them. You will report to the Production and Operations Leadership Team.
You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you have the following...
BA/BS in a relevant discipline electronic engineering, software engineering or equivalent.
Demonstrated expertise in managing large design projects for presentation technology from small rooms to complex operations facilities.
Experience with the management of contract personnel.
Expert level use of CAD programs for system design.
Demonstrated strength collaborating with design and construction teams on large projects (new buildings).
Certifications in industry relevant areas such as system design, control system programming, and software interface for AV systems (audio, video, etc.) including AMX, Crestron, BiAmp, Dante, and Extron.
5 years in design, specification and implementation of presentation systems.
Demonstrated breadth of knowledge of key technology areas is use today and their path for the future.
Demonstrated experience in project management and fiscal management to support projects.
Are able to obtain Secret level security clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.

MS Degree in a relevant discipline electronic engineering, software engineering or equivalent.
Expert level programming using AMX or Crestron.
Design and management of AV systems for buildings with multiple sizes/types of facilities.
Hardware and software based streaming codecs (Haivision, VBrick, Zoom).
Video Teleconferencing technologies (ISDN and IP).
Experience with procurement and vendor management.
