POSITION SUMMARY:
This role will be solely responsible for the top level Technical and Admin support, during the Enhancement, Implementation and Integration process of the Rhoads Industries internal Business, Operations, and Financial Systems.

We are looking for more of a "mechanic than an engineer" (so to speak) – someone that can "turn wrenches" and help Diagnose issues instead of "design a car."

Computer Proficiency/Working Knowledge in MSOffice Suites &SPECIFICALLY the following:

MS Dynamics SL (NOT GREAT PLAINS)

MS Excel

SQL.

GENERAL FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Support the design, development, testing, and implementation of new functionality and processes of financial, operations, and business support applications.
Actively support the development and maintenance of MS Dynamics SL system including a system upgrade.
Perform routine maintenance, audit, and review of system data.
Gather end-user requirements and translate to existing or new application features.
Identify and propose system solutions as well as recommend improvements to existing software programs as necessary.
Work with internal teams and external vendors on interfaces between third-party applications.
Design and create internal reports.
Troubleshoot and provide system support for internal customers as needed.
Develop process flow and corresponding documentation.
Assist the team in ensuring that users receive proper systems training and documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Min 3-5 years of experience working with and supporting financial applications and financial system interfaces - specifically MS Dynamics SL.
  • Ability to analyze data, communicate with non-financial and non-technical internal end-users.
  • Understanding of accounting processes, procedures and internal controls.
  • Basic knowledge of budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ability to work independently as well as to function effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Great attention to detail and time-management skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, including sitting, standing, walking, and driving in an automobile, and may require walking and standing on irregular and uneven surfaces in an industrial setting. The performance of this position may occasionally involve exposure to construction or industrial areas where the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hard hats and hearing protection is required.
