Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
Manage & elevate company brand and reputation in the marketplace
Drive student participation in the café by implementing Chartwells K12 programs and local marketing strategy that builds our business with students, parents and the community
Develop campaigns to increase awareness and coordinate campus publicity for events, promotions and other campus related activities.
Manage promotions and events calendars, internal newsletter and digital media
Manage implementation of marketing tactics cross-departmentally (operations, culinary, nutrition) to ensure success
Execute feedback strategies (surveys, focus groups) to gather student, parent and school community insights to drive engagement in the café, make recommendations based on results
Maintain and grow key community partnerships and manage Chartwells K12 participation in community partnership activities and initiatives
Manage top community engagement activities and initiatives
Identify proactive PR and media opportunities

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required with a major in public relations, communications or journalism
Minimum three years marketing management experience required
Restaurant, fast casual or food marketing experience a plus
Ability to present to large groups
Knowledge of merchandising and promotions
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to direct implementation and produce positive outcomes by working through teams
Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task
Proven track record of directing and tracking marketing programs that build engagement and sales
Broad knowledge of social media and solutions that build internal and external engagement, as well as a thorough understanding of the Internet
Self-starter with outstanding leadership and planning skills
Budget management experience preferred
Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
