We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, who will specialize in mobile application development! This position can be located in either our Norcross, GA, or Austin, TX office.

Responsibilities:
Develops quality enterprise content management and item processing solutions utilizing Microsoft software development languages and tools. Development includes new features and new application development.

Creates software designs for complex features and new products based on best practices.

Provides guidance to less experienced engineers with code and design reviews.

Assists Product Marketing with assessing technical feasibility for new products and features. Develops high-level estimates to assist in making product roadmap decisions.

Makes recommendations for software improvements within the context of planned feature and new product development.

Keeps current on latest Microsoft development products and assesses impact to current projects and future development.

Provides support and maintenance on existing applications. Identifies root cause for reported product defects and provides maintainable solutions. Assists less experienced engineers with issue resolutions as needed.

Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.

Participates in code reviews and technical workshops.

Demonstrates code quality through proper unit and other testing.

Breaks down user stories into component tasks and provides estimates. Assists less experienced engineers with developing accurate estimates.

Works in a collaborative development environment with a team of developers, QA and technical writers.

Conducts and/or assists in software demonstrations for internal and external audiences as required. Assists other team members with presentations.

Requirements:
Previous Software Engineering experience in a mobile software development role (6+ years).

Developed mobile apps that were published to the Apple and Google app stores.

Experience with Cordova and Cordova plugins (2+ years)

Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and software patterns.

Advanced software troubleshooting and performance tuning abilities

Good understanding of agile software development principles and techniques. Understand iterative software development.

Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and multiple software development approaches.

Organized and detail-oriented.

Desire to be part of a highly productive, fast-paced team.

Four-year college degree or equivalent.

Preferred:
Experience selecting a platform for mobile development.

Experience with updating mobile applications without updates to app store.

Knowledge of credit union and/or banking industry a plus.

Experience with distributed version control.

Experience working on a Scrum team.
