Job Summary:
This is a skilled IT Help Desk Technician position with a strong focus on hardware support. Provides technical assistance and support for general IT needs, specializing in hardware related issues, while ensuring our IT systems run smoothly. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software problems, providing timely solutions, and maintaining a high level of customer service.
Essential Functions:

Serve as a point of contact for end users seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or in-person.

Perform on-site troubleshooting of hardware issues, including desktops (PC and Mac), laptops, printers, and other peripherals.

Diagnose and resolve hardware malfunctions, including component replacements and repairs.

Work with internal team members and external vendors to resolve technical issues.
-
Assist with hardware and software installations, configurations, and upgrades.
-
Perform scheduled maintenance of IT equipment.
-
Maintain an inventory of hardware equipment and manage hardware-related documentation.
-
Provide accurate information on IT hardware products and services.
-
Record events and problems and their resolution in logs.
-
Follow up and update customer status and information.
-
Pass on any feedback or suggestions from end users to the appropriate internal team.
-
Identify and suggest possible improvements to procedures.
-
Pull and terminate networking cable when needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a help desk technician supporting a range of different technologies.

Tech-savvy with working knowledge of hardware components, office automation products, and remote control tools.

Experience supporting both Windows and MacOS required

Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.

Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
-
Awareness of common cyber-security policies and procedures.
-
Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software related technical issues.

Excellent communication skills.

Customer-oriented and cool-tempered.

Proficiency in English.

Demonstrated experience showing initiative to work through problems to find a good solution.
