QuickRx Healthcare Group is a NY based healthcare organization operating in multiple sectors, including specialty pharmacy and ambulatory infusion centers. With close to 20 years of industry excellence, QuickRx is expanding its pharmacy operations and growing its team.
We are searching for a full time Temporary Pharmacy Technician to join our team! This position will be for approximately 4 months. There is a possibility of it becoming a permanent full-time position.
As a Pharmacy Technician/Cashier, you would work under the direct supervision and guidance of a pharmacist as part of the team to ensure patients receive their medication in a timely manner while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving and confirming prescription orders
- Preparing and filling prescriptions
- Interacting with customers and answering questions
- Managing inventory and performing organization tasks
- Maintain pharmacy inventory, removing outdated drugs
- Organizes medications for pharmacist to dispense by reading medication orders and prescriptions, preparing labels, calculating quantities.
- Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
We’re Looking For Candidates With:
- Attention to detail
- Pharmacy systems knowledge; experience working with databases. Knowledge of Micro-merchant software system is a plus
- Fluent in Spanish is a plus
- Microsoft Excel Proficiency
- 2 years of experience working in an independent pharmacy
Salary: $20.00 to $23.00 /hour
