Responsible for achieving sales objectives for specified region(s) and/or target Customer accounts. Provide value added outside support for CGS Customer base. This includes, but is not limited to, definition of Customer requirements, gathering of relevant Customer information, presentation of sales quotations, field technical support where required. The Regional Manager is responsible for developing the sales business plan for their given region. This includes sales forecasts at the individual Customer level. This position is also responsible for reporting Customer feedback (positive and negative), developing regional based marketing strategies, and following up with Customers wherever necessary. This position must possess good technical knowledge of machining, tooling, and value-added assembly type work.
Responsible for the sales of precision machined parts, cutting tools, dies, fixtures, gages, molds utilized by OEM and contract manufacturers in the industry
Responsible for the development of a sales plan for specified regions and/or target Customer accounts
Development and Presentation of final quotations to Customers
Provide value-added on-sight support for CGS Customer when required. This includes applications, project management, and other technical support when required
Develop new accounts per specified targets and markets as established by CGS Management Team
Gather Customer feedback and report to CGS Management
Responsible for establishing and maintaining Customer relationships
Develop regional sales strategy as required Attend trade shows as required
Attend Trade shows as required
Work with Customers on quality issues and receivables as required.
Maintain data integrity in Salesforce.com CRM database
Other duties as assigned
Maintain records and perform risk management for new business as required by the quality system.
Abide by company rules and regulations.
Assure clean and organized work place.
Maintaining quality system guidelines and processes.
Travel as required – approximately 80%
Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Engineering and/or equivalent experience
10 years + experience in sales in a Tooling and/or CNC machining or related environment
Must have a strong work ethic and Initiative
Strong Communication and Persuasion skills
Must be able to work independently
Blue Print reading and technical documents
Microsoft Excel & Word experience – intermediate/advanced level
Salesforce.com desired but not required
