Job Title: Marketing Intern
Reports To: Marketing Supervisor

The purpose of this position is to assist the Marketing Department with various projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Social Media Community Review:
Assist with streamlining company social media accounts (e.g. Facebook + Twitter), ensuring uniform content and tone of voice for landing pages, graphics, and other elements within the communities
Researching other industry leaders for current trends within the market segment.
Develop a social media strategy to create more engagement and gain new "fans" and "followers".
Repurpose content from other sources for our own social media channel (and understand how to change the tone of the content for each channel).
Increase social media presence and gain visibility for our brand within the market community.
Tracking of All Marketing Collateral (warehouse environment):
Physical inventory checks
Prepare purchase order requests for inventory items and maintain digital files
Check-in items from receiving
Keep warehouse shelves clearly labeled and organized
Track material using Microsoft Excel
Position is responsible for assembling AMT Promotional Supplies including but not limited to: AMT MiniBuddy® Bears, AMT Bridle™ Skull Kits, Acrylic Comparison Stands, Training Dolls, etc.
Use scalpel/small plyers for item assembly (AMT MiniBuddy® Bears)
Fulfill Marketing Sample Requests: pull/pack marketing materials from warehouse accurately and take to shipping department
Provide tracking information via Microsoft Outlook to order recipients
Fulfill Tradeshow Shipments: pull/pack materials for trade shows from warehouse accurately and take to shipping department (work with Marketing Coordinator)
Customer Relations Management (CRM) (work with Marketing Specialist)
Tradeshow lead entry
Develop email campaign content
Assist in meeting/event coordination: set up training rooms.
Assist in the distribution of marketing materials to support both day-to-day sales activities and tradeshow activities.
Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks.
Assist the Marketing Supervisor with special projects as assigned.
Strategize with department to constantly improve Marketing goals and existing procedures.
Other duties as determined
Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program and actively working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications
Overall 3.0 GPA or higher preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required
Proven written communication skills, and passion for writing both short- and long-copy
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret company procedures/policies, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Maintains a valid Driver’s License.
