Plantation Patterns, a division of NBGHome, is a manufacturer and distributor of high quality outdoor cushions and umbrellas in the United States. We are currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our distribution center Warehouse team. This role is a first shift, exempt position reporting to the Warehouse Manager. We currently have locations in Calera and are growing to other locations in and around the Birmingham area.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will work within a dynamic and passionate team to achieve and maintain the goals of our inventory and warehouse plan. This role will work with warehouse management to perform and manage daily warehouse activities to promote a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. You will train and supervise warehouse associates; work with Inventory Control to maintain accurate inventory; and maintain records for all equipment, materials, and products. Relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, you will assist the team in making warehouse processes/responsibilities more efficient. At all times, you will support a safe, clean, organized, and accountable workplace.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Performs daily inspection and care of equipment.
Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
Communicates with/Interacts with/Supports all departments.
Locates material into inventory per AIMS.
Pulls material from inventory for work orders.
Returns material to inventory from work orders.
Loads/Unloads/Relocates material as needed per Inventory/Production/Shipping/Quality Control requirements.
Assists/supports all warehouse personnel
Uses scanning equipment accurately.
Completes all other duties/projects as assigned by Warehouse management.
Conducts cycle counts including researching and documenting inventory discrepancies to identify root causes and possible solutions.
Monitors and performs key functions related to inventory transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness at all times.
Inspects product locations: ensures quantities are correct and items are in correct location.
Performs daily audits to ensure accuracy of received quantities.
Documents all errors found during any research pertaining to a SKU in question.
Completes all required paperwork/transactions accurately and within required deadlines.
Works safely at all times and complies with all established safety rules and guidelines including reporting noncompliance.
Communicates information related to daily work activity to team lead and supervisor.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform other duties as assigned.
Accepts special projects as assigned by supervisor.

Skills/Abilities Experience Requirements:
Highly organized with exceptional follow-through, time management, and multi-task abilities.
Strong verbal and written communications.
Basic computer and data entry skills.
Basic math skills.
Ability to read and understand measurements and tape measures.
Ability to operate a forklift; must be certified within three (3) months of hire.
Lifting and moving boxes will be required.
Team player that works well within a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
Able to work independently with limited supervision as well in a team.
High School Diploma.
Two (2) years Inventory Control and warehouse experience..
If necessary, must be able to work overtime and weekends with little notice.
