WorldSprings is the outdoor, social-wellness experience that helps every guest feel better through globally-inspired soaking waters.
Position Overview
The Marketing Specialist will support our field marketing efforts at WorldSprings and report directly to the Director of Marketing while also partnering with the marketing team to prioritize initiatives. Your responsibilities will include digital and offline support dedicated to the Dallas WorldSprings location.
Key Responsibilities
- Create field marketing recommendations and plans to support broader marketing initiatives and calendar.
- Develop partnerships with local businesses to expand reach.
- Lead presence at off-site locations as well as assist with on-site event programming
- Assist in setting marketing goals and objectives.
- Support and execute targeted marketing campaigns across various channels including SMS, email marketing and digital advertising.
- Track spend against marketing budget.
- Support the development and distribution of various marketing and sales materials including menus, digital signage and promotional cards.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of marketing events on-property.
- Maintain and evolve marketing calendar and keep up to date.
- Monitor and analyze local market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Will NOT be responsible for social media duties; but ~10% of role will be light community management support in partnership with community marketing coordinator.
- Hire, train and oversee brand ambassadors.
Required Skills/Ability
- A minimum of 4years of relevant work experience in a marketing role is required.
- Experience working with graphic design programs and graphic designers.
- Must be able to organize and manage multiple time-sensitive projects.
- Must have excellent communication, customer service and follow-up skills.
- Must be detail-orientated and able to manage multiple time-sensitive projects.
- Schedule will not be Monday-Friday and will include at least 1 weekend day/week
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Experience with Canva, Klaviyo, other design software, a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Passion for wellness and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
- Self-starter eager to be part of the early stages of a brand, with a flexible and collaborative approach.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Four years in a Marketing role (at least two years in field marketing) with relevant experience
- Proven experience in marketing, preferably in the wellness, fitness, or hospitality industry.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Able to be outside interacting with employees who are working around the pool areas.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
