SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
The Operations BI Analyst II is an important part of the Store Ops BI Analytics and Reporting team that enables our field leaders and store teams by supporting all field-facing analytical tools & capabilities. With guidance from the Manager Store Operations Business Intelligence, Analytics and Reporting, this individual will create and execute the vision for enhancements to existing dashboards by partnering with key cross-functional partners & field teams to ultimately create detailed business requirement documents. This individual will also oversee the day-to-day management of existing dashboards to ensure our BI tools are accurate and functioning properly. In addition, this role will also support operational & strategic analytics to guide Retail Operations leadership & field teams.
PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (*Essential Functions)
Act as a product owner of the StoreOps BI Dashboard while managing day-to-day maintenance of the tool including, but not limited to, troubleshooting, resolving UltaSupport tickets, goal formatting & loading
Partner with Manager in defining the vision for all future enhancements to existing dashboards or new dashboards and execute through detailed BRD creation and partnership with cross-functional teams
Tableau Developer with an expertise to create visualizations that provide business insights.
Act as a liaison to the IT Enterprise Data & Analytics team to ensure BRDs are understood. Support project management from the business side. Test and ultimately rollout enhancements to field teams.
Owner of Operations BI self-serve visualization tool (Lumira) who consults with Ops corporate & field teams to gather requirements and create new dashboards.
Support analytics for third-party merchandising realignments and resets including, but not limited to, execution reporting, store tool/resource design & creation and ROI analytics in close partnership with StoreOps Programs, Merchant and EPMO teams
Define reporting & analytics needs for key enterprise campaigns such as BCRF and Save the Children
Oversee the new Ops Analytics Intake Process with support from the Manager of BIA & Reporting. Prioritize and allocate requests to Ops BI & Analytics team members
Act as a data & analytics SME internal & cross-functional partners, providing insight & guidance
Attend to adhoc requests as needed, providing thought partnership and strategic guidance
BA/BS degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Business or a related analytical field.
Experience with SQL and database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, or GCP)
Experience with Tableau Desktop, Server, and Prep
Experience with SAP HANA Studio and SAP Business Objects tools (Analysis for Office/Web Intelligence)
Excellent analytical, mathematical and creative problem-solving skills.
Energetic, self-motivated and curious individual - must be extremely organized and detail oriented with an ability to make proactive recommendations.
Must be able to plan and prioritize multiple projects and react to support the changing needs of the business
PREFERRED OR SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Experience in retail or CPG industry a plus
Experience with SQL and/or database design a plus
Must be able to pull a story together using data visualization techniques
Must have strong working technical knowledge of data & systems
Strong attention to detail
