Regional Sales Executive

We always seek to stay one step ahead of the industry, so we are extremely excited about the innovations in our technology for 2020 and the anticipated growth as a result! Due to this large-scale expansion, we are looking to fill 3-5 Regional Sales Executive roles. The Sales Exec may reside in and cover one of the following regions: Kansas, Missouri, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, Florida, Delaware, New Jersey and/or Maryland. Their main function will be to drive growth within their assigned market by proactively prospecting potential clients and educating them on BetterNOI's products and services. They will also partner with various teams to ensure client training, satisfaction and retention.


  • Proactively identify, solicit and close new business opportunities
  • Meet BetterNOI new business growth objectives
  • Represent BetterNOI at local, regional and national networking events and tradeshows
  • Actively participate in multifamily industry associations to develop industry connections and prospects
  • Maintain communication with Client Success team to anticipate and respond to client issues
  • Establish reasonable expectations with clients about product performance
  • Provide business intelligence about market conditions, competitive positioning & product opportunities
  • Develop effective, long-term relationships with key contacts in assigned territory
  • Proactively visit clients in assigned territory
  • Partner with appropriate team members to ensure proper training, and support for clients
  • Review clients’ online reports to ensure each client is actively and effectively utilizing BetterNOI products
  • Maintain accurate records of activity using company’s CRM tool


  • 3-4 years of experience in the multi-family industry, highly preferred, in the applicable region
  • College degree preferred
  • Proven record of achieving/exceeding company sales goals
  • Outgoing, professional demeanor with the ability to maintain effective relationships
  • Driven self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent presentation and persuasive skills
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Resourceful, creative problem solving
  • Technical (computer) aptitude with the ability to become proficient with BetterNOI website
  • Ability to facilitate professional interaction with internal departments and external customers
  • Must be proactive with the ability to multi-task and follow-through with projects containing high level of detail
