Full Job Description
Under the direction of the SVP/COO & Service Line Leader - Behavioral Health and the Chief Nursing Officer for PRMC & Affiliates, this role will administer, direct and coordinate the functions of the nursing departments at Parkview Behavioral Health. Responsible for leading the nursing departments in the development, implementation and coordination of high quality, high valued patient care. Participates with PBH leadership, medical staff and clinical leaders in organizational decision making and planning. Responsible for competency and skill development of the nursing team, in addition to enhancing and refining services within nursing and working in conjunction and collaboratively with other PBH services.
Must have a BSN from accredited program. Acceptable accrediting agencies are Commission on Collegiate Education in Nursing (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA). Must have Master's degree in a related field.
Valid Indiana Registered Nurse license required. CPR and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required. ANA Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing.
Must have a minimum of five to seven years progressive management experience within a behavioral health facility. Demonstrates current working knowledge and understanding of Joint Commission/ISDOH and other regulatory agencies.
Must possess strong customer service skills and clinical program/coworker development skills. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must effectively lead and manage change.
