Anschutz Medical Campus has an opening for a full-time University Staff (unclassified) Student Services Administrative Coordinator position.

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus ranks among the top institutions nationally in clinical care, education and research. Its 230-acre campus, designed to enhance collaboration and interprofessional education, hosts the College of Nursing; the Schools of Dental Medicine, Medicine, Pharmacy, and Public Health; the Graduate School; a Health Sciences Library; and two hospitals. Jobs in this career family provide direct professional support for the teaching and/or educational service mission of the university. Functions include academic advising/counseling, student personnel administration, recruitment and admissions, registration, financial aid, faculty affairs, library services, curriculum administration, and others involving direct support of the educational mission of an academic unit.
Professionals at the entry level are responsible for exercising discretion, analytical skill, personal accountability and responsibility in a wide range of areas including academic, administrative, managerial and student services functions. Work involves creating, integrating, applying and sharing knowledge directly related to a professional field.
At the entry level, duties are limited in scope and are performed with guidance and direction from other professionals and are performed in a training and development capacity.
The Student Services Administrative Coordinator will play a key part in providing centralized information and service to the Anschutz campus community members as an ambassador for the suite which includes: Office of the Registrar, Office of Financial Aid, Office of Student Engagement, Office of Equity and Diversity, and Bursar’s Office. This position is responsible for shaping the customer service experience of all students who visit the suite. The role will administer the CU Anschutz Food Pantry program, collaborating with CU police department to ensure a seamless process, organizing food drives as well as working confidentially with students in need. This position will also administer the CU Anschutz Shares program. This program is for students in need of emergency support. In this role the employee will receive requests for emergency assistance and will award/disperse funds in collaboration with the award committee. Provide accurate information, assistance, and support in response to questions on programs and procedures including, but not limited to: University policy and procedures, student registration, financial aid, bursar, navigating campus and program websites, and campus events. This position must maintain a working knowledge of University policies related to procurement, student services and campus resources. Collaborate and plan with the Business Services Coordinator regarding fiscal allocations. Assist with and coordination of inter-office functions and events. Provide administrative support to the Assistant Vice Chancellor, Campus Registrar, and Director of Student Engagement as assigned. Manage activities and recreational rentals on campus. Review and disseminate policies related to cash handling for the suite as well as collect and process payments as needed. Support student organizations such as student senate and community outreach efforts. At the direction of the Assistant Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs, Campus Registrar, and Director of Student Engagement this position will build relationships, provide exceptional student support, and student engagement efforts consistent with the mission and goals of Student Affairs and the CU Anschutz campus. This position will need strong communication and conflict resolution skills as they may meet students in crisis.

Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position has been established at $36,150 to $42,000 and is commensurate with skills and experience.

- A bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, educational technology, liberal arts, library science, business, business administration, finance, accounting , education, social sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
- Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.
- 2 years professional customer service experience preferably in a higher education setting
- Professional experience in providing administrative support
- Experience managing projects
