POSITION PURPOSE
Perform preventative maintenance and repair on Guernsey Rental/Loan/Sale brewers or water dispensing equipment.
We are seeking someone experienced in repairing commercial coffee & beverage equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION:
- Install / repair / removal of the Coffee & Beverage Service equipment (brewers, water-coolers, specialty items) and necessary equipment to a customer’s location.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines including filter changes and cleaning of machines.
- Occasionally requested to perform an on site analysis for a new install. This includes measuring height and distance, checking water lines and electric outlets.
- Completing all calls in a timely manner.
- Tag and place all Returns in the designated return area.
- Help with repairs/cleaning of equipment in the shop during down time.
- Keeping the maintenance of the work truck current (including but not limited to oil changes, turn signals, light bulbs, and windshield wipers). Report any truck maintenance problems immediately to the Breakroom Manager or Warehouse Manager. Provide details.
- Maintaining a clean vehicle (inside and outside) at all times.
- Maintain a specific parts inventory and tools on the truck for the repair of machines in the field.
- Providing a positive attitude.
- Other duties as directed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.
- Required to be able to follow verbal instructions.
- Ability to read and interpret street maps.
- Must maintain a clean driver’s license.
- Some knowledge of plumbing and electrical skills.
