Work closely with management to ensure human resources supports business needs. Serve as a key contact on employee relations issues. Work closely HR management to provide leadership for human resource functions including: staffing, employee relations, policies, compliance, benefits, compensation, performance management, and organizational effectiveness/development. Assist in establishing and implementing the human resources strategic objectives which support the overall business objectives.

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related degree.
Four plus years’ experience in human resources.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven success in communicating at all levels of an organization.
Experience in employee relations through varying levels of an organization and application of employment law and statutory requirements.
Experience developing recruitment strategies for positions at all functional levels.
Demonstrated success in developing and fostering teamwork at all levels of an organization.
Proven ability to analyze workforce trends and provide recommendations/solutions.
Ability to frame business issues, analyze options, and concisely articulate a course of action to cross functional audiences.
Experience working with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) systems on report generation and data analysis.
Ability to influence change within the workforce that directly supports organizational culture.
Proficient in the advanced features of Microsoft Office software products (Word, Excel).
Willingness to travel as needed.

Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management or MBA.
PHR/SPHR Certification.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Partner with management and Senior Recruiter to develop recruitment strategies to attract the best candidates and meet strategic needs.
Support Senior Recruiter with all aspects of salaried recruiting activities from internal posting to sourcing external candidates, which includes both direct and contract hires.
Work with management to identify training gaps and provide recommendations. Source training vendors and/or develop training programs.
Assist management team in developing bench strength; i.e. succession planning, performance management, training, diversity, etc.
Develop and implement training programs that satisfy identified employee developmental requirements.
Support team work through training, facilitating, recognition, and communications.
Work closely with managers to assist with employee development and employee relations.
Serve as a management resource to ensure consistent administration of established policies.
Provide employee relations/coaching in a manner that fosters employee engagement, fairness, and consistency.
Support and coach frontline leaders and managers to carry out employee progressive coaching and ensure consistent application of corrective action guidelines.
Oversee all employee relations issues for hourly employees including all disciplinary matters.
Investigate and resolve employee complaints and where required communicate employee concerns to department manager using considerable tact and discretion.
Partner with functional and operations leadership to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes.
Partner with managers to anticipate and provide support to respective functional areas.
Administer employee policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all legal and corporate guidelines. Act as a resource for policy development, consistent policy enforcement, and governmental compliance.
Perform wage/salary administration process, performance review process, and benefits administration.
Analyze and identify human resources trends and prepare recommendations to HR management.
Follow Environmental, Quality and Safety Management System procedures and requirements.
Ability to meet the essential job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation, as outlined in the job description.

Implementing established human resources policies/programs and recommending changes to policies and programs.
Implementing recruiting and hiring programs that ensure a competent workforce.
Taking unpopular stands with line management.
Delivering the best service to customers throughout the business while achieving human resources objectives under daily manufacturing pressures.
