WSP is currently initiating a search for talented and motivated Intern Architect to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia! In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects supporting Department of Defense (DoD) and municipal programs in the US and internationally, as well as partner with WSP design teams around the globe. Duties and Responsibilities : -With moderate supervision, perform assignments of limited scope, which are clearly defined and require the application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related architectural design tasks. -Prepare preliminary architectural working drawings and related project documents using REVIT software. -Perform basic analysis of design and construction systems, limited design layouts and construction details. -Research, gather and record information for use in writing specifications. -Perform inspections of construction sites and submit findings to project management. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
0-1 years of related design experience
The ability to travel, some internationally, to project or client sites as needed
Capability to produce documents with CADD and REVIT platforms
Interest in pursuing Architectural licensure, required

Preferred Qualifications:
Currently pursuing Architectural License
Experience with NAVISWORKS
Familiarity with DoD standards
Experience with DoD facilities related work
