POSITION OVERVIEW:
Agileana is currently seeking multiple Front-End and Back-end Drupal Developers to join our team of experts.
FE candidates will be responsible for designing accessible Drupal themes based on U.S. Web Design Systems. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth proficiency in HTML, CSS, Twig, JavaScript, Gatsby, Gutenberg, Drupal theming, US web design systems (USWDS), atomic design, and Section 508 compliance. Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience using programming languages to code user-side applications, including visual elements like menu bars, clickable buttons and the overall layout of websites or web applications.
BE candidates would be responsible for helping to engineer, architect, develop, and migrate enterprise-level Drupal 10 websites. Additional duties include implementing custom modules and functionality, as well as optimizing the performance and security of Drupal websites.
Candidates should be familiar with Drupal best practices, coding standards, security protocols, and decoupled and headless Drupal. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in Drupal development and Symfony. Ideal candidates will have experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process, as well as experience using industry-standard version control systems. Additional responsibilities may include mentoring junior developers and collaborating with project managers, designers, and other developers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of background check(s) and an entry-level federal security clearance process. MUST BE US-BASED with work eligibility.
As a Front-End Drupal Developer, your responsibilities will include:

Designing tailor-made Drupal themes and implementing responsive designs utilizing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure the continuity of designs and user experience.
- Enforcing accessibility standards and guidelines.
- Remaining updated with the latest trends and technologies in front-end development and Drupal theming.
- Enhancing website performance and ensuring compatibility across multiple browsers and devices.
- Diagnosing and resolving front-end issues effectively.
As a Senior Back-End Drupal Developer, your responsibilities will include:

Developing custom modules and functionality in Drupal using PHP, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages and tools
- Architecting complex Drupal solutions, including custom integrations with other systems and platforms
- Collaborating with front-end developers and site builders to integrate back-end functionality with design and user experience requirements
- Providing technical guidance and leadership to junior developers on the team
- Maintaining and enhancing existing Drupal sites, including diagnosing and resolving bugs and performance issues
- Contributing to the Drupal community through participation in forums, contributing to modules, and attending relevant events and conferences
- Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in Drupal and web development more broadly
- Providing technical recommendations and insights to clients and stakeholders on the feasibility and implementation of features and functionality.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of development experience, preferably in the federal government or large enterprises.
- 7+ years of CMS experience, including Drupal.
- 3+ years of Drupal 9 experience with related frameworks and languages.
- 4+ years of coding experience in HTML5, JSON, XML, JavaScript, CSS
- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, Symfony, and Drupal's core APIs
- In-depth knowledge of Drupal architecture, including modules, themes, hooks, and the database layer
- Experience with Drupal 7 through 10 and a solid understanding of the differences between them
- Experience in creating prototypes, using version control systems, and Agile/Scrum development process.
- Proficiency in CSS preprocessors and responsive design.
- Expertise in website usability, accessibility, and cross-browser testing.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience and knowledge of Git and Docker
- U.S. citizenship or green card holder
