Job Purpose: Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Penguins Box Office including event builds, ticket printing and mailing, financial reporting and payment processing. Selected candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to Pittsburgh Penguins season ticket holders and individual game buyers both by phone and in person at PPG Paints Arena.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Process payments, enroll season ticket holders in payment plans, and follow up on past due invoices.

Prepare daily audits and cash deposits.

Prepare season ticket and group invoices.

Maintain accurate accounting records; reconcile with the finance department as requested.

Create ad hoc attendance, renewal and sales reports for Penguins management.

Assist in event builds including ticket templates, price codes, barcoding and online ticket management.

Handle game day ticket related customer service issues with season ticket holders and individual game buyers

Answer incoming calls from Penguins Season Ticket Holders and general public with questions ranging from game information to additional ticket requests, while providing professional and efficient customer service.

Assist with off-season Season Ticket Holder’s seat relocation requests.

Assist in the mailing of Season Ticket Holder related materials.

Assist in the implementation of Season Ticket Holder events including Season Ticket Holder skates, holiday photo sessions, training camp, etc.

Participate in monthly training webinars with Ticketmaster.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications or related field.

Minimum one to two years’ experience working in the entertainment/sports field.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong math aptitude and high attention to detail.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and multi-task.

Ability to quickly build rapport with customers and assess customer needs.

Ability to work flexible hours, evenings, weekends, holidays and all Penguins home games.

Preferred Experience:
Prior Ticketmaster Archtics and host experience.
