Critical Key requirements

· Experience in the use of VB.Net, C# and ASP.Net using Visual Studio 2008 through 2015

· Experience using AZURE, POWER BI cloud based /design development

· Experience with Windows server 2003, 2008 and 2012 administration

DELIVERABLES & Due dates

  • The consultants under direction from the MTA IT management in the Law Applications group may be used to perform or assist with the following:
  • Design, develop, test and implement web based and cloud based application requests
  • Perform migration planning, pre-migration system testing, design, development, post development system testing and implementation.
  • Assist with a server upgrade project from Windows 2003 and 2008 to 2012
  • Perform all needed application and database modifications that may result from the Windows Server Upgrade
  • Perform all needed application and Oracle database modifications that may result from an upcoming migration of all Windows 7 desktops to Windows 10
  • Assist with a migration from eDOCS to FILENET
  • Assist with a migration from Oracle Discoverer to Microsoft Power BI
  • Assist with a migration from Oracle 9i to 12c

Qualifications EXPERIENCE & eDUCATION

  • Experience in the use of VB.Net, C# and ASP.Net using Visual Studio 2008 through 2015
  • Experience using AZURE, POWER BI cloud based /design development
  • Experience with Windows server 2003, 2008 and 2012 administration
  • Experience with eDOCS and FILENET
  • Experience with Oracle database upgrades (9i and newer)
  • Experience supporting web based applications
  • Experience with Microsoft AJAX
  • Experience with DevCraft Controls and Developer Productivity Tools
  • Experience with Oracle 12c database design and development
  • Experience in the definition, creation and execution of test scripts
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Experience with defect analysis and reporting
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
