Full Job Description
Performs surveillance and reporting of healthcare-associated infections and promotes safe infection prevention and control practices. Requirements: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field. 3-5 years of experience. Bachelor's in Nursing, medical technology, public health, epidemiology, microbiology or a Bachelor's degree in natural sciences along with relevant experience. A degree is required to obtain certification in infection prevention and control. Maryland Registered Nurse License; Medical Technologist; Certification in Infection Control preferred.
