Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Banquet Manager located in New York, NY. The Banquet Manager will oversee all aspects of banquet and event operations, including planning, coordinating, and executing events to ensure a seamless and memorable experience for guests. Responsibilities will also include managing staff, supervising food and beverage service, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Planning & Coordination: Work closely with clients, event planners, and internal departments to plan and coordinate all aspects of events, from initial inquiry to final execution. Ensure all client requirements and expectations are met and exceeded.
- Staff Management: Train, and manage a team of banquet servers, bartenders, and support staff. Create schedules, assign tasks, and oversee the performance of the team to ensure smooth event operations.
- Banquet Operations: Execute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) with precision, monitor operations, and maintain the highest service standards. Communicate effectively with the kitchen, stewarding, and other departments. Supervise food and beverage service during events, ensuring that all items are presented and served according to the Club’s high standards. Address any issues that arise promptly to maintain quality service.
- Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for clients during events. Ensure all client needs are addressed and resolve any issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Budget Management: Oversee the financial aspects of banquet operations, including cost control, inventory management, and reporting. Work within budgets while maintaining high service standards.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all events comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Conduct regular inspections of banquet facilities and equipment to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Management meetings
- Participate in weekly Management Meeting and provide input on issues. Responsible for resolving tasks.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in banquet and event management. Implement new ideas and improvements to enhance the overall guest experience.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $79,000.00 per year
