Our client, a major financial firm in Los Angeles, is seeking a Legal Coordinator to hold things down on this great temporary assignments.
Responsible for ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of all estate planning documents to include preparing and coordinating documents, including deeds, trusts, living wills, last will & testaments, health care, directives, powers of attorney, and other documents as applicable. Follows the funding process in transferring client assets into trust, including drafting new deeds, beneficiary designations and re-titling of specific assets. Responsible for improving and sustaining processes that allows for accurate, expedient and timely service for our clients and support to the entire estate planning team and performs administrative duties related to the operational affairs of the firm as requested. Supports the legal assistant in preparing court orders, organizing court proceedings, filings and required proceedings as required. Assists the attorney in the management of the estate planning process, which includes trust administration and probate.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday
Office experience (or educational equivalent), preferably with a background in the Legal field, English, Business or Estate Planning.
Demonstrates a positive attitude, the ability to work with others and possesses a desire to learn and grow professionally.
Uses initiative and discretion to accomplish routine assignments with minimum supervision.
This individual must possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, be very organized, be able to manage multiple files at once, and have above average communication skills.
The ideal candidate should have a genuine interest in the service of others, a willingness and aptitude to conduct client explanations and have a desire to grow with the company.
This person needs have the ability to organize and analyze documents from the client and the courts.
Understanding of Commercial real estate and/or real estate (Highly preferred)
