Delek US Holdings, Inc. is a diversified downstream energy company with assets in petroleum refining, logistics, renewable fuels and convenience store retailing. The refining assets consist of refineries operated in Tyler and Big Spring, Texas, El Dorado, Arkansas and Krotz Springs, Louisiana with a combined nameplate crude throughput capacity of 302,000 barrels per day.
The logistics operations primarily consist of Delek Logistics Partners, LP. Delek US Holdings, Inc.and its affiliates own approximately 63% (including the 2 percent general partner interest) of Delek Logistics Partners, LP. Delek Logistics Partners, LP (NYSE:DKL) is a growth-oriented master limited partnership focused on owning and operating midstream energy infrastructure assets.
The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores in central and west Texas and New Mexico.
The Systems Architect will partner with various functional areas to provide strategy, problem-solving, technical architecture and project management for IT systems. This position will be accountable for identifying key business changes and implementing the developing technical solutions as needed. Key responsibilities will include the following:
Provide technical advice and guidance to assigned business areas.
Serve as technical project manager for various business projects.
Partner with business and third party administrators to design and implement technical solutions supporting underlying business processes.
Participate in developing IT Governance processes and their enforcement.
Responsible for the entire life cycle of IT Solutions, from requirements and design to regular maintenance, updates, and fixes.
Manages all aspects of the technical activities (including software development requirements, architectural requirements, hardware, technical models, vendor interaction, technical designs, etc.) and ensures the systems/applications align with the overall architecture and infrastructure.
Participate in testing and verification of technical solutions.
Communicates the effectiveness and task progress of the technical project team members.
Provides proper training and support after implementation to ensure proper knowledge transfer to given business units.
Controls solution by establishing specifications and coordinating implementation with technical teams.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Experience programming in a scripting language such as Power Shell, VBScript, etc.
Proficiency in some or all the following infrastructure areas:
Storage – EMC Data Domain, EMC Unity, EMC Isilon, Pure, and Tintri.
Compute and Virtualization – Cisco UCS, VMware, Active Directory, Cisco UCS, Dell
Disaster Recovery and Backup – familiarity with SAN-based replication, Cohesity
Cloud – Microsoft Azure, AWS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT or a strong technical background.
Experience in architecting a recommended technical infrastructure solution.
Good communication, teamwork, and general consulting skills.
Good problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrix reporting environment.
