Improve member financial well-being through BCU consumer loan solutions, while also building member loyalty through world class service.
Provide a high level of member service handling loan requests from the inbound telephone and internet sales channels.
Identify member needs by cross-selling BCU products and services, as well as optional loan and collateral protection products.
Consistently achieve monthly and annual sales and service goals, including phone queue service levels
Determine collateral needs and acquire collateral valuation
Apply current BCU lending fundamentals, policies and procedures.
Maintain a working knowledge of credit reports to evaluate credit standing, perform needs assessment and identify competitor buyout opportunities
Provide fundamental credit counseling to members where appropriate and necessary
Work with dealerships and other finance companies when necessary
Successfully complete all required registrations or certifications as needed
High School diploma or equivalent required, college degree a plus
Minimum 2 years sales experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated ability and experience in providing world-class customer service
Ability to collect and analyze data
Proficient in basic use of the Windows operating system, e-mail, and the Internet
Strong communication, analytical, sales and telemarketing skills required
Skillful at prioritizing work and have the ability to perform in a fast paced environment
Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
