Through our annual conferences, webinars, forums and other strategic services, Realcomm provides technology education, networking and collaboration opportunities for commercial and corporate real estate professionals. We are seeking a qualified Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team with primary responsibilities for establishing and executing successful marketing initiatives and social media engagement. The ideal candidate must have experience working from home with minimum supervision and must possess a strong work ethic, including a desire to excel and over-achieve.

Position Summary:

As Realcomm’s Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing an engaging digital experience for our customers, growing the brand and driving attendance for our various events. This is a multi-faceted role that will require website content management, social media coordination, project management and marketing support. A successful candidate for this position will have a strong attention to detail, be internally driven and motivated, have exceptional communication skills and is looking for that company they can learn and grow within. The Digital Marketing Specialist will establish the company’s online marketing strategy and manage all online channels. The role requires a hands-on approach, developing and executing the strategy.

This person will be involved with all company marketing initiatives, including email and print marketing and social media channels. This includes analyzing and identifying targets, setting campaign goals and metrics, as well as monitoring campaigns, landing page and content creation. This position requires a mix of skills including creativity, analytics, organizational abilities and a focus on execution details.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Create, implement and analyze marketing campaigns that span website, email, paid and organic social media, advertising, and retargeting.
  • Manage day-to-day search activities including keyword research, campaign planning & implementation, and performance monitoring.
  • Coordinate a consistent user experience and brand presence across digital media campaigns
  • Oversee both organic and paid social media campaigns; create content specific to audiences across all platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.); develop strategies to drive followers, engagement, and conversation.
  • Build/maintain media plan and foster media relations. Monitor related business and trade publications for coverage of company events and published content.
  • Continually promote existing articles and video archives through social channels and with key industry thought leaders for brand exposure.
  • Optimize website for search engines: work with program team to review and update copy and landing pages for search engine optimization; Perform ongoing research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities; Research and implement content recommendations for SEO success.
  • Drive prospect traffic to our website and engage them in a way that results in conference attendance. Continually perform tests to maximize lifetime value and customer retention of existing and new customers but that also re-engage lapsed users.

Ideal Candidate Background:

  • Proven experience in digital/print marketing and social media.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications.
  • Previous work experience as a Marketing Specialist, Social Media/Digital Analyst, Social Media/Digital Assistant.
  • Notable experience using social media campaigns (both paid & unpaid) to drive traffic.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to be a strategic thinker that sees the whole landscape.
  • Strong analytical experience; ability to use data to create, implement and execute a digital campaign.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Organized, self-motivated, resourceful individual with a can-do attitude and ability to think creatively and holistically.
  • Proficient in current workplace technology and MS Office Suite programs (Word, PPT, Excel, etc.).
  • Experience working with HTML is a plus.
