Web Application Administrator
Overview of the requirement
Web application administrator will responsible for design, implement, support and monitor a variety of platforms, applications, web servers, web services, domains, and web securities. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for addressing information security requirements during all aspects of our application development process in accordance to IT policies, procedures, and best practices. Web Admin role has to plan, coordinate, direct and execute Web related activities aligned with IT and business function priorities.
Web application administrator have to build and maintain core web infrastructure on secure and highly available environment, perform testing and quality assurance of internal and external web sites and applications
Design, Install/Upgrade, deploy, and configure web infrastructure components including servlet containers, RMI, application servers based of Tomcat, WebLogic, Apache web server, IIS ,Node JS and backend MySQL database
Design, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of web sites, networks and information privacy
Have a full understanding of Public Key Infrastructure, authentication, authorization, single sign-on and identity access management for business web applications
Must have a knowledge and background in server, virtual platform, operating system, network, security, database, application and cloud computing environment
Perform web security architecture review, analyze security audit report, conduct risk assessment, and prepare enhanced/additional policies, standards, guidelines and procedures
Responsible for database, application web tech stack security hardening
Communicate and train to adopt web operational procedures, methods, processes and related securities within SDLC developments
Troubleshoot web system hardware, software issues, Maintain optimal performance of web applications, perform backup and disaster recovery and escalate application problem with vendors for solution
Ability to multi-task, handle multiple assignments, participate in change management process, communication in accordance with technical standards and processes, quality delivery and documentation
Skills and Abilities
Good experience with Apache, Tomcat, IIS, WebLogic, RMI server, Reverse Proxy, MySQL, FTP, OpenSSL, SAML, OAuth and F5 pool configurations; also good understanding of TCP/IP, AS2, SMTP, SSL, SSH, HTTPS, OpenSSL, LDAP, SFTP, DNS protocols
Excellent knowledge of all aspects of IT, and an in-depth understanding of Windows, Solaris, UNIX, Linux, and Database/Applications
Experience with migration of Windows/Linux based business Database/Application systems to cloud platform
Scripting knowledge of Shell, Perl and Python
Understanding of PHP, Java and Java script and J2EE
Experience with OWASP a plus
Must possess exceptional written, verbal communication, presentation and conflict resolution skills
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations
Types of Experience
IT Infrastructure administration experiences with Hardware, Software, Network, security, Database, Application and web servers
Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or related field required.
Must has experience of 5 years in Web Administration with infrastructure security and administrative knowledge
