The Red Hat Global Partner and Technical Enablement (GPTE) team is looking for a Partner Enablement Project Manager to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will manage key projects and initiatives across GPTE functions with an emphasis on partner enablement, readiness, and overall GPTE program governance. You will serve as project lead for various small, medium, and large projects and will play a critical role in driving success for the Red Hat Online Partner Enablement Network program. This role will require frequent work across teams and functions, while maintaining alignment with other enablement teams and stakeholder groups. To be successful, you will need to be skilled at systems thinking with a deep understanding of cross-program, cross-functional impacts. As a Partner Enablement Project Manager, you will also assist with overall GPTE program governance activities, contributing to process improvements to aid the team’s go-to-market (GTM) strategy, communications, curriculum and enablement framework design and management, program reporting and success measurement, and more.
Primary job responsibilities:
Guide project planning, scheduling, monitoring, communication, and reporting activities
Collaborate with vendors, cross-functional internal teams, and management on project requirements, scope, and change management issues
Understand and apply industry practices, company policies, and standard procedures
Work with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and define project plans, key deliverables, and milestones
Provide preparation and backup for critical team meetings
Plan, organize, and manage key stakeholder meetings from start to finish as needed
Support key program governance functions: oversight, control, integration, and decision making, to maintain cross-program alignment, manage risk, improve performance, and streamline communications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
3+ years relevant experience in project or program management
Skilled in project management and productivity tools like Google Suite, SmartSheet, or Trello
Experience in project management and working knowledge of related techniques and tools
Experience working in heavily cross-functional, matrix organizations
Ability to learn quickly, contribute on your own, and handle multiple projects simultaneously in a team environment
Ability to grow results while exercising judgment and decision-making, operating within the scope of assigned authority
Skilled at systems thinking with a deep understanding of cross-functional impacts
Experience with formal training programs and global training delivery is a plus
Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or similar certification are a plus
