DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Food Service Workers perform routine work in the preparation of meals and sanitation of food preparation/serving areas at a Department of Military and Veterans Affairs veterans home. Duties include cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, dishes, pots, pans, work surfaces, and other kitchen items; preparing trays, measuring portions, serving food, and transporting trays, carts and nourishment; using equipment such as mixers, dicers, slicers, knives, grinders.

Rotating days and weekends (40 hours/week)
Lunch Period: 30 Minutes
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
No previous experience and training required, but previous food service worker experience preferred.
